Wilderness StarGuard is a cutting-edge lifeguard and water safety course that meets the needs of wilderness trip leaders. This course teaches prevention techniques to supplement institutional safety policies and procedures for backcountry programs.

This course is recommended for backcountry guides, canoe trip leaders, private expedition groups, college or university outdoor education programs, hiking club trip leaders, wilderness therapeutic programs, and adventure race safety personnel.
